My chances of driving an RV across Canada (or anywhere, really) are remote, but I’ve been to Toronto and points south.

Ice wine! Amongst all of Canada’s amazing treats, I enjoyed this most of all. I can see where the expense comes in, but boy oh boy, what a treat!

Never made it to the tower, or the baseball for that matter, so I’m glad of your photos. Maybe next time…

Thanks for reporting on your travels. Sounds like pleasure and pain in about equal proportions!

Yes, they allowed me to take my tripod up but it wasn’t easy to get a great shot as there is metal fencing all around the observatory deck and it is angled out. I ended up shooting wide open, setting the self timer to 10 seconds and actually leaned the tripod face down against the metal fencing. It took a few tries but it worked. There are other areas that are glass which also were tricky. Unfortunately there is no 100% obstruction free viewing from the CN tower, unless you’re brave and do the Edge Walk.

Your pictures of the CN tower looks fantastic and I wonder if your taking it from SLR camera.
